Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I donate to the GCCA?
A: Yes! However, due to our tax status, we are not a tax-deductible charity. If you are looking for a tax deduction, please donate to our Food Pantry, which is tax-deductible.
Q: My neighbor keeps parking in front of my house and taking the space. What can I do?
A: If the road is a public road, then anyone can use the space (it is not reserved for the residents). However, if the vehicle remains there for 72 hours or more, they are in violation of the Vallejo City Code and it should be reported to Code Enforcement. This can be done through their office or via SeeClickFix.
Q: What are CC&R’s?
A: When everyone purchased their homes, they agreed to a list of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&R’s). Each development is different with different rules. You can find a copy of your CC&R’s in your original purchase documentation or on our site in the CC&R’s section.
Q: My neighbor is violating the CC&R’s. What do I do?
A: This happens and in many cases is by accident. If you feel comfortable, try talking with your neighbor about the issue. If you would like, contact your development rep and they can assist you in working with the neighbor to find a solution. Your CC&R’s outline what your power as a homeowner is to enforce a CC&R (usually legal recourse), however, it rarely reaches this point.
